LaWanda Marie Stewart

LaWanda Marie Stewart, affectionately known as "Teenie" departed on this date, Thursday, August 29, 2024. 

She was always kind, caring, and giving and had a positive attitude that would brighten up any room she entered. LaWanda had a passion for helping others and was always willing to lend a listening ear or a helping hand to anyone in need. Her kindness and compassion touched the lives of so many and her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

LaWandas memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her and she will always be remembered for the love and the light she brought into the world. She is survived by her loving mother, Mary Smith; her boys, Ah'Mar Smith and Akeem Smith; brothers, Roger Smith and Nick Smith; sister, Kathy Smith; nieces, Temeyka (Antoine) Smith and Shanae Younge; nephew, Antwyne Smith; great nephew, Antwyne Smith, Jr.; great nieces, Madison Younge; and Allison Dixon; devoted cousins, Telka Massard and Sammy Johnson; best friends, Montesha and Fanny; as well as several aunts, uncles, and other family members and friends.

Rest in peace dear LaWanda. You are a truly special person and your legacy of kindness, giving, and love will never be forgotten. 

A visitation will be held on Friday, September 13, 2024 from 11am to 12 noon at Glorious Light Church of God, 3661 Evansville Avenue, Dayton, Ohio 45406. A funeral service will begin at 12pm noon also at the church. Burial will follow at Dayton Memorial Park.
