Lavonda Elizabeth Riley, age 75 of Dayton, passed away December 16, 2013. She was born February 20, 1938 in Dayton to the late Willard and Viola Kinser. In addition to her parents, Lavonda was preceded in death by two husbands: Jack Johnson and Frank Riley; great granddaughter, Willow Goodwin; and brother, John Kinser.
Lavonda is survived by her children: Jack Johnson, Sharon Yager, Bonnie (Steve Runk) Johnson and Judy Ann Hall; 7 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; sister, Shirley Dickey; brothers: Joe (Edie) Kinser, Bob Kinser, Mack Kinser and James Kinser; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Lavonda was a member of AmVets. She enjoyed working as a caterer for many years. She loved the outdoors and loved people, especially children. Lavonda was a wonderful woman who was loved by all. She will be dearly missed. We will always love you Mom and you will be missed always until we see you again.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, December 23, 2013 at Dayton National Cemetery, 4100 West Third Street. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements by Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road.
