JOHNSON, Laverne W.
age 87, of West Carrollton, passed away Sunday, October 8, 2006 at Kettering Memorial Hospital. Laverne was born October 23, 1918 in South Burwick, Maine, the daughter of Clarence and Frances Wheeler. She was a member of the Kettering Seventh-day Adventist Church. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Marvin Johnson; daughters, Shirley (David) Wysong of Parrish, FL, Linda (Haresh) Jotwani of Longwood, FL, and Marylou (Danny) Hamm of Miamisburg, OH; sisters, Muriel Spitzig and Mary Louise Apple; brothers, Erald Wheeler and Wilson Wheeler; 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Laverne was preceded in death be her parents; sister, Irma Santee; and brother, William Wheeler. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., October 11, 2006 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd. family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
