Laverne Seitz

SEITZ, LaVerne, 81, of Kettering passed away Friday, April 20, 2007 at his residence. He is preceded in death by his parents; in-laws; wife Jean Seitz; daughter Barbara Ann Hickey. He is survived by his daughter Linda Creager; son John (Karen) Seitz; daughter Susan (Kevin) Seitz-McCormick; son Bryan Seitz; grandchildren Kevin Creager, Steven Seitz, Dana, Allison, and Kimra Hickey, Jennifer Chapman, Brad Liston, and Heather Francis; great grandchildren Andrew Creager, Isabella Creager, Faith Ann Chapman, and Wyatt Evan Liston; sister Mary Louise (Elmer) Tate; many other family and friends. He was a veteran in the U.S. Navy with service in WWII. He retired from NCR in May of 1975. He helped his wife manage their Avon business for over 25 years. A memorial service will be held 6:00PM Monday, April 30, 2007 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd. Family will receive friends from 4:00-6:00PM prior to services at the funeral home.
