Laverne D. Kinton

LaVerne Dew-Wyatt Kinton, née Evans, born on November 21, 1965 went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 22, 2022.

LaVerne truly believed in being the hands and feet of Jesus, and consistently showed kindness and compassion to others in her daily life. LaVerne's smile and laugh could light up a room, and her many crafts always had others in awe of their beauty. She loved her family to pieces and would always find ways to interject them into conversations, especially her grandchildren.

LaVerne was very active in her West Carrollton community. She was a special needs attendant and secretary in the West Carrollton school district. LaVerne was a foster mother, mother, Girl Scout leader, football mom, band mom, a black sheep, a crafting buddy and a true friend to many.

LaVerne is greeted into Heaven by numerous family members and loved ones. She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Karl; three children, Donald (Chloe) Kinton, Dani (Matt) Stemley, & Austin Kinton; her parents, Charles & Judy Sigler; brother, Ernie (Cathy) Sigler; and two grandchildren, Norah & Eli.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Brigid's Path located at 3601 South Dixie Drive, Kettering, Ohio 45439.


Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on February 2, 2022 at Newcomer Funeral Home-South Chapel located at 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, Ohio 45439. Funeral Service will be officiated by Pastor Thomas Sager at 7:00 pm following the visitation.

LaVerne's services will be livestreamed at the scheduled service time.
