Lavern Bihlman, age 79, of Dayton, went home to be with the Lord Saturday, July 23, 2011.
Lavern was born December 3, 1931, in Campbell County, KY to the late Buford & Lula Brewer.
She was preceded in death by her first husband Charles Davis; second husband William Bihlman; brothers, David & Donald Brewer; sisters, Silvia Crest, Mary Faye Martin, and Mablene Brewer.
Lavern is survived by her son, Michael (Linda) Bihlman, of Xenia, OH; grandson, Michael David Bihlman, of Dayton, OH; sisters, Betty Swafford, of Washington Courthouse, OH, Bess Holland and June Warman, of Dayton, OH, Shirley Jones, of FL., Debra O'Hair, of Lexington, KY; brother, Dorsey Brewer, of Campton, KY; special nephew, Michael Brooks, of Campton, KY; special cousin & friend, Pauline Asbury, of Dayton, and many other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, July 26, 2011 from 5-8 pm at Blessed Hope Baptist Church of Kettering, where she was a member for many years, (3151 Annabelle Dr, Kettering, OH 45429). The service will be held Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at 10 am at the church.
There will also be a visitation Wednesday July 27, from 5-8 pm at Porter & Son Funeral Home (769 E. Main St, Campton, KY 41301). A service will be held Thursday, July 28, at 10 am. Burial will follow at Neal Valley Cemetery.
