Lavada Evers

Lavada M. Evers, age 76 of Dayton, passed away November 25, 2014. She was born November 3, 1938 in Dayton. She was preceded in death by her parents: Marguerite Terrill and Sheldon & Dorothy Terrill; and loving husband, Jerry Evers.

Lavada is survived by her son and daughter-in-law: Craig and Darcie Evers; daughter, Charlotte Stevens; granddaughter, Karen (Chris) Burger; half-sister, Patricia Wright; half-brothers: Marvin Terrill, James Terrill and Michael Terrill; and sister-in-law, Juanita Evers.

Lavada was a loving wife, mother, mother-in-law and grandmother. She was a very kind, gentle person who never met a stranger. She had a great sense of humor and a smile that would light up the room. She will be dearly missed.

Visitation will be held from 5-8 pm on Thursday, December 4, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd., where the funeral service will be held at 10:30 am on Friday. Burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Lavada's memory to The Hospice of Dayton or to a charity of your choice.
