Laurel L. Allison, age 64, of Dayton, passed away on July 28, 2024. She was born on February 20, 1960 to the late William & Thelma Allison.
She was very creative and a crafter. She loved to crochet, assemble jigsaw puzzles, and she loved to create macramé. She also enjoyed music, her favorites were Def Leppard and Post Malone. She was gifted with a wonderfully sarcastic wit, and she was often very honest in her opinions. But she was very warm and welcoming. She had a very sweet and kind nature, and she shared her love and warmth with everyone.
Laurel loved to be outside, whether it was just listening to the rain or hiking in the woods. She was also an avid animal lover, and she took care of many rescues throughout her life. She loved her family very much, and she just adored her grandchildren. They were her life and her loves. Laurel's kind and loving spirit will be greatly missed by everyone who was blessed to meet her.
In addition to her parents, Laurel was preceded in death by her sister, Evelyn Carol Allison; her grandpa, Adam Lensch; her grandmother, Olive Chloe Allison; and her best friend, Gina Heindl.
Her loving memory will be cherished by her son, Christopher (Tiffanie) Allison; grandchildren: Elijah and Avery; siblings: William Terry (Teri) Allison and Roberta "Birdie" (Tom) Allison; nieces & nephew: favorite niece, Heather Prince, Dustin (Juanita) Allison, and Wendy Allison-Burton Moore; great-nieces and great-nephews: Joshua Prince, Madeline Prince, Owen Prince, Dustin Johnson, Elizabeth Allison, Ray McConnaughey, Dylan Hedrick, Faith Hedrick, Ashley Allison, Tyler Allison, Willie Fasick, Chase Burton, Skylar Moore and Xavier Moore; her close friends, Eddie Heindl and Donna Ledbetter; and many more family and friends.
