Laura Parker Rodgers

Laura Parker Rodgers, age 66, of Springboro, passed away at Miami Valley Hospital on May 29, 2023, after a short illness. Laura was born in Cleveland, Ohio on April 9, 1957 to the late Bob and Arlene Parker.
Laura is preceded in death by her parents and husband, John; and her cousin, Rick Stone.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Helen (Paul) McLaughlin of Bellbrook, Ohio; son, Ian (Nichole) Rodgers of Lawrenceville, Georgia; brothers, Tom (Julie) Parker and Ralph (Lori) Parker; beloved grandchildren, Corinne, Nathaniel, Lorraine and Maron; cousins, Ron and Bill Stone of Cleveland, Ohio; nieces, Allison Lagoo and Laura Mason; nephews, Jeffrey and Alex Parker; special friends, Jenny Mitchell, Barb Gannon and Carol Campbell; and many other loving family members and friends.
Laura retired as a School Psychologist after many years of service at Middletown and Dayton Public Schools. Laura was a graduate of Bowling Green State University, Class of 1979, and completed an advanced degree at Wright State University. In her free time, she most enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, reading, gardening, traveling, and watching the Cleveland Browns. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her, including her cat, Jack.
A Celebration of Life will be held by the family at a later date.
