Laura Gayle Kaley

Laura "Gayle" Kaley, age 69 of Huber Heights, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at Laurels of Huber Heights, where she received excellent and compassionate care. She was born July 28, 1951 in Dayton, Ohio, the youngest of five, to the late Red and Rose McNees.

Gayle was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a gentle, sweet spirit whose concern was always for others over her own needs. She was quiet and did not seek the spotlight but preferred to stay in the background. She lived a quiet life and loved being in her home.

Gayle was an ordained minister of the word and loved the Lord with all of her heart. She loved her puppies, Bonnie Gayle, Sammy Bob and Toby (who was her special favorite neighborhood stray who adopted Gayle) as well as a large family of cats. Gayle loved Christmas time with all of the decorations inside and outside of the house. She especially enjoyed planning Christmas Eve dinners with Nicole and her family and the special time she spent with the whole family.

In addition to her parents, Gayle was preceded in death by her daughter, Julia Long; and four sisters.

Gayle will be missed by her loving husband of 26 years, Mike Kaley; daughter, Nicole (Darin) Dalton; grandchildren, Chelsi Dalton, Darin Dalton, Kaila Gunter, Sadie Long and Ty Long; great grandchildren, Kaylee Burrell, Kylie Burrell, Pheonix Gardner and Hunter Gardner; and very close friends, Donna Baker and Becky Pinkerton.
