JONES, Latia "Tia" age 19 passed away April 26, 2012 at Dayton Children's Hospital.
She is preceded in death by her sister, Brianna Chapman.
She is survived by her mother, Scheryl Reece; biological parents, Regina Chapman and Gary Jones; grandparents, Rachel and Charles; grandfather, Jimmy Baker; siblings, Tasha (Robert), Costy (Tony), Chavias, Davionte, Kianna, and Javon; aunt, Coutney, Kelly, Latonia, and Tiffany; best friends, Viv and Mama Myrl; and numerous dear, nieces and nephews.
She was a graduate of Thurgood Marshall class of 2012 and was a recipient of a scholarship from Wright State University. Tia enjoyed life and spending time with her family and friends.
The family would like to thank the entire staff of Dayton Children's Hospital for their loving care and support over the years.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, May 1, 2012 from 5:30 pm until 8:30 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home – North, 4104 Needmore Rd. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family of Tia.
