Larue Phillips, age 85, of Dayton, passed away July 13, 2020.
She was born September 11, 1934, in Mayking, Kentucky, to the late Archie and Belvia (Short) Webb. She retired from Monarch Marketing Systems in Miamisburg, Ohio.
Larue enjoyed writing poetry, reading, watching her favorite television shows, and talking with family and friends. She was a loving sister, aunt, and great friend to all that knew her.
Larue was preceded in death by her husband of 33 years Sidney Phillips "Norman" and four sisters Ann Scott, Louise Kincer, Nellie Kincer, and Lula Phillips.
She is survived by her sister Shelby Mullins (Greenville, Ohio) and brother Archie (Wanda Sue) Webb (San Antonio, Texas). Also surviving are nieces and nephews and other relatives, friends, and a long-time friend Dorothy North mourn her passing.
Visitation will be held from 9-10 am on Friday, July 17, 2020 at Newcomer North Chapel (4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, Ohio 45424). A graveside service will follow at 10:30 am at Willow View Cemetery (2500 Neff Rd., Dayton, Ohio 45414).
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton in Larue's memory.
