Larry Douglas Williams, Sr., age 64 of New Carlisle, OH passed away Sunday, April 15, 2018. He was born March 4, 1954 in Dayton, Ohio to Dewey and Maudie (McClure) Williams. He married Cheryl R. Brown on August 21, 1976 in Dayton, OH.
Larry worked as a "Jack of All Trades" for Simon Ellis-Superabrasives in West Carrollton. He loved computers and technology, his motorcycles, especially his Gold Wing, and his guns. He loved his grandkids, his children and anyone who knew him, and would do anything for them. He was a Trekkie from childhood who also loved music, especially Credence Clearwater Revival and the Eagles. He loved his family dearly and will be greatly missed.
Larry is survived by his wife of 41 years Cheryl; a daughter, Kristi (Shannon) Horn; a son, Larry D. (Sharlene) Williams, Jr.; four grandchildren, Collin (Katie Means) and Cameron Horn and Katelyn and Alexander Williams; three sisters, Vickie Stepp, Gerri (Kenneth) Barrett and Linda Johnson; an Uncle, Arvil (Carmie) Williams; and other family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents; and a grandson, Andrew Williams.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2018 from 9:30 am to 11:30 am at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Beavercreek Chapel, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432. Funeral Services will follow the visitation at the funeral home at 11:30 am. Burial will follow the funeral service at Beaver Cemetery, Beavercreek, OH.
