October 11, 1944 — August 4, 2013

Larry Lee Taylor, age 68, passed away on August 4th, 2013, at Kettering Hospital after a long battle with MS.

Larry was born and raised in Dayton, OH. He served in the U.S. Army from 1968-1970. He retired from General Motors after 30 years. Larry enjoyed going to garage sales, going to the grocery and watching TV. He was an avid sports fan and was always watching sports. He also enjoyed watching old games shows.

Larry attended First Dayton Free Will Baptist Church. Larry was preceded in death by his parents, John Wesley & Lenora Taylor, his step-daughter Barbara Moore Allen. Larry is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Maude Taylor, his son Michael (Hannah) Taylor, step-children, Michele (Matthew) Logsdon, Betty Moore, Bobby (Debbie) Moore & Bruce Moore, grandchildren, Chasteti, Codie & Annie Taylor, step-grandchildren, Jason Gilmore, Jared & Chloe Logsdon, step-great-grandson, Nolan Pack, his sister, Carol (Tom) Journell and brother John (Judy) Taylor and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 9th, 2013 at Newcomer Funeral Home South Chapel, Kettering, OH from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, with a funeral service immediately following at 12:00 PM with Pastor Robert Legg officiating. Interment will follow at Miami Valley Memory Gardens.
