Larry Stiffler

Larry G. Stiffler, age 80 of Kettering, passed away December 22, 2014. He was born April 12, 1934 in Dayton, Ohio to the late George and Helen Stiffler.

Larry is survived by his wife of 61 years, Wyonna Stiffler; children: Mike (Mary), Dave (Angel), Joe (Lee Ann) and Jeff Stiffler; grandchildren: Kelly (Adam), Matt and Emily Stiffler; great granddaughter, Olivia Rowe; brother, Jim (Helen) Stiffler; sisters: Jean (Sam) Delessandro and Barbara Hall; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Larry retired from Ohio Bell after 32 years of service. He enjoyed being outdoors to golf, fish, boat and hunt. He had a great sense of humor, loved to recite poetry and enjoyed traveling. Most of all, Larry loved spending time with his family and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 4:00 pm on Friday, December 26, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd., where the family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service, from 3-4 pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Larry's memory to a charity of your choice.
