Larry Shepherd

Larry "Pete" Shepherd, age 69 of Tipp City, passed away October 1, 2017. He was born in Dayton to the late Charles and Emaline Shepherd on December 18, 1947. Pete was preceded in death by his sisters, Ruby Keller and Doris "Sis" Mitchell; brothers, George, Bob and Bill Shepherd.
Pete is survived by his wife of 51 years, Faye Shepherd; sons, Tim Shepherd and Larry "Mooch" Shepherd and his wife, Trish; daughter, Kelly Lowe and her husband, Jerry Lowe II; grandsons, Jeremy Pete, Jacob, Brandon, A.J., Dillon and Dakota; granddaughters, Allie-Marie and Robin Lynn Emaline; brothers, Gary "Snooks" Shepherd and Barb, Kenny Shepherd and his wife, Kathy, Donny Shepherd and his wife, Mary, and Ray Shepherd and his wife, Rita; many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
Pete was a veteran of the United States Navy. He was a life time member of American Legion Post 586 in Tipp City and Amvets Post 24 in Dayton.
A graveside service with military honors will be held at Dayton National Cemetery on Monday, October 16, 2017 at 11:30 AM.
