Larry Seward, age 69 of Dayton, passed away Friday, May 11, 2018. He was born June 30, 1947 in Greenville, Ohio to Harry and Lois Seward.
Larry served in the U.S. Army and retired from General Motors. He attended West Enon Church of God where he and Jeanie were active in the gospel singing group "The Seward's. Larry was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be dearly missed by his family.
Larry was preceded in death by his son, Christopher Lewis Polson and father, Harry Seward.
Larry will be missed by his loving wife, Jeanie; children, Steven Edgar Seward, Jason Edgar Seward, Angela Devone (Rob) DeHaven and Jeffrey Allan (Tamara) Polson; mother, Lois Seward; grandchildren, Ashley, Corey, Jordyn, Cole, Brittany, Drew, Austin, Logan, JJ and Johnny; great grandchildren, Kinley, Westlyn and Alice (on the way); brother, David (Stephanie) Cultice and many nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends Thursday, May 17, 2018 from 5 p.m. until the time of the funeral service with full military honors at 6 p.m. at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, Pastors, Dan Fiorini and Ed Saunders, officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the West Enon Church of God.
