Larry Reese, age 73 of Dayton, passed away Thursday, October 29, 2020 at Miami Valley Hospital. He was born October 11, 1947 in Berea, Kentucky, the son of the late Edward and Ruby Reese.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Jane Reese.

Larry is survived by his sons, Martin (Nichole) Reese, Joseph (Jessica) Reese; step-children, Terri (Randy) Milby, Mike (Tammy) Kennedy and Dwayne (Leslie) Kennedy; as well as numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Larry was a barber for 42 years, spending the majority of his career at WPAFB. He was also a minister of Biblical Studies and served on the Executive Board at Independent Gospel Fellowship in Dayton. Larry had a wonderful sense of humor and never knew a stranger. He enjoyed fishing and watching the Cincinnati Reds and The Ohio State Buckeyes. Most importantly, he loved his family.

A walk-through visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2020 from 10 am to 11 am at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - North Chapel (4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, Ohio 45424). A Graveside Service will follow at 11:30 am at Poplar Hill Cemetery (130 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia, OH 45377). For the health and safety of everyone, the family is requesting that you wear a mask if in attendance and practice social distancing.
