Larry R. Johnson

Johnson, Larry R., age 67, of Fairborn, passed away on Friday, May 30, 2008 at the VA Medical Center. He was born April 4, 1941 in Pataskula, OH, the son of Soloman W. & Armina K. (Hogue) Johnson. He served in the US Army and was a member of the Maple Heights Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. He loved coaching baseball and football. Larry enjoyed life to the fullest. He is preceded in death by his parents; 8 brothers; and 1 sister. Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Donna Johnson; children, Kevin Johnson, Bryan Johnson, & Ronda Johnson; grandchildren, Kara, Joshua, Tyler, Nicholas, Michelle, & Michael; brother, Ernie Johnson; and his sister, Rhoda Miller. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 PM on Wednesday, June 4, 2008 at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, OH. Interment will follow at Dayton National Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:30 PM until the time of services.
