Shelton, Larry "Butch", age 52 of Dayton, passed away on Friday, March 16, 2007 at his home. He was born February 21, 1955 in Dayton, OH. He enjoyed truck driving, fishing, Harleys, and spending time with his family and friends. He is preceded in death by his father Larry E. Shelton, his dad, William "Nank" Bowling; and his brother, Mark Shelton. He is survived by his wife, Gail (Pettit) Shelton; mother & stepfather, Mary Jane (Richard) Faulkner; children, Steven (Janelle) Shelton, Brandy (Benjamin) Harrison, Samantha (Michael) Vargo, Darius Brehm, & Rachel Brehm; grandchildren, Katie, Marie, Michael, Alivia, Tyler, Mason, Sydney, Trevor, & Jordan; siblings, Rhonda Crane, Rex Shelton, Terry Shelton, Doug Shelton, & Sherry Powell; mother of his children & close friend, Debbie Richardson; and many other loving relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1 PM on Wednesday, March 21, 2007 at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, OH, with Rev. Eugene Pettit, Jr. officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6-8 PM.
