Larry Quincy Sr. was born March 23, 1950, to the late Theodore and Evelena Quincy in Shelbyville, Kentucky. He attended Lincoln Institute in Simpsonville, Kentucky.
Larry was a member of True Vine Missionary Baptist Church until his failing health. Larry also, sang in the male chorus. Larry was an employee at Miami Valley Hospital for 18 years.
Larry enjoyed watching baseball and football. He was a die-hard Cincinnati Reds and Bengals fan. He also loved watching The Kentucky Wildcats basketball team.
In addition to his parents, he was proceeded in death by his brothers, Marvin Jackson, Ralph Quincy, Michael Quincy, and Donnie Stiger.
Larry is survived by his children, Larry (Tonia) Quincy Jr., Marvin Prater; Sisters, Edna Caldwell Cheryl Q Hogan (Jesse) and Mary Johnson; Brothers, Jerome (Natalie) Quincy and Andre Quincy; Grandchildren, India Burns, Sierra Quincy, Damontae Quincy, Jamie (Laniya) Burns, Gregory White, and Sydney Quincy; Great grandchildren, Zoey Davis, Jamie W. Burns, Na'Lani Burns and Ja'Mya Riley. A very special friend Doris Smith, and host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Larry Sr. was a devoted brother, father, grandfather, uncle and friend and will be truly missed.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 22, 2024 at Newcomer Kettering, 3940 Kettering Blvd. Service will begin at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Reverend Ril Beatty to officiate.
