Larry D Peyton

Peyton, Larry D., 71 of Sugarcreek Township, Ohio passed away at home surrounded by family and friends on September 12, 2017. He was a graduate of Menifee County High School. Attended Sinclair Community College.
He retired from GM after 33 years of service. He was an IUE union steward and a member of Masonic Lodge Beaver Valley Lodge #753. Larry was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and brother. He loved gardening, vacationing and sitting on the back porch watching nature. He activally supported his children and grandchildren. He also loved to entertain and was the life of the party.

Larry was proceeded in death by his parents, Ernie and Mattie Easterling Peyton. Four brothers, Clyde, Vernon, Darold and Harold Peyton.

Larry is survived by his wife of 42 years, Betty Williams Peyton. Two sons, Nole and Jennifer Smith and Bryan Peyton, Three Grandchildren, Chris Wilson, Jalynn and Katie Smith.
Two sisters, Jean and Vernon Watkins and Gay Murphy. He also leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews and life long friend, Harry Wright, and a multitude of family and friends.
The family will welcome family and friends from 5pm to 7pm, on September 15, 2017 at Newcomers Funeral Home in Beavercreek, Ohio on Dayton-Xenia Road.

Services will be held Saturday, September 16, 2017, at 11am at Newcomer Funeral Home - Beavercreek Chapel.. Steve Witter Hahn officiating. Internment at Mt. Zion Shoup Cemetery, S. Fairfield Road, Beavercreek, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, donations are asked to be sent to Dayton Make a Wish Foundation in Larry's name.
