Larry A. Peters

Larry A. Peters, age 76 of Riverside, passed away Tuesday, September 5, 2017. He was born November 22, 1940 in Marion, Ohio to the late Frank and Mary Belle Peters.
Larry retired from the U.S. Air Force after 27 years. He was former Post Commander of the VFW Post #3283 and a member of the Masonic Lodge #777. Larry was a loving husband, father and grandfather who will be dearly missed by his family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Terry Lynn Gutowski. Larry will be missed by his loving wife of 53 years, Brenda Peters; children, Sherrie Perry, Alan (Lynn) Peters and Jim (Dawn) Peters; 8 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; siblings, James W. (Jean) Peters, Sharen (Bill) Crabtree and Wayne (Nid) Peters.
Family will receive friends Monday, September 11, 2017 from 3 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 4 p.m. at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Larry's memory to the VFW Post 3283.
