Larry Dean Patton, age 76 of Dayton, Ohio, passed away Monday, November 8, 2021 at Grandview Hospital. He was born September 11, 1945 in Greene County, Ohio to the late George and Betty Patton.
Larry proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War where he received a Purple Heart and a Medal of Honor.
In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his Ronald Melvin Patton and Denny Patton; brother-in-law, Palmer Cox; and sister-in-law, Marilyn Patton
Larry is survived by his siblings, Gary (Nancy) Patton, Dianne Cox, Sandy (Harry) Davis, Wayne Patton and Jeannie Lewis; several nieces, nephews; and great nieces and nephews.
A burial with full military honors will be held at 1pm at the Dayton National Cemetery, 4400 W. Third St., Dayton, Ohio.
