Larry L. Olsen, age 71, of Beavercreek, OH passed away Thursday, October 19, 2017. He was born September 24, 1946 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Walter, Jr. and Lucille (Leonard) Olsen. He married Beverly Arnold on April 19, 1967 in Dayton, OH.
Larry served his country proudly in the United Sates Army during the Vietnam War. He was a caring family man, who gave great advice and was liked by many. His hobbies included fishing and working on many types of vehicles. Larry will be dearly missed.
Larry is survived by his wife of 50 years, Bev; two sons, Jeff and Eric (Dee Dee) Olsen; three grandchildren, Derek, Austin and Alexis; two sisters, Cindy (Dave) Rhoads and Lisa (Norm) Hicks; a sister in law, Barb Arnold; and numerous other family.
A visitation will be held Tuesday, October 24, 2017 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home and Crematory-Beavercreek Chapel, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek, OH 45432. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Burial with military honors will be held at Calvary Cemetery following the service.
