Larry E. Murphy

Lawrence Eugene Murphy of Springfield OH passed away January 6, 2018 in Xenia OH. He was 60 years old. He lived in Moorefield Township until 2014 where he lived in Xenia until his death. He is the beloved son of Joseph L. Murphy and Evelyn A. Murphy both deceased. He is survived by his sister Linda L. Humphries of Chincoteague VA, a brother - in - law James H. Humphries, two nieces, Lauren Lee (Michael Lee) and Diana Cosgrove (Michael Cosgrove) , two nephews; Daniel J. Hall (Ashley) and John L. Hall; four great nephews, Cooper Cosgrove, Carson Cosgrove, Michael Lee, Dominick Hall, and two great nieces, Leah Hall and Ava Lee of Shawnee and Overland Park Kansas. He has 3 cousins, Deborah Del Caliano of Keswick, VA, Nancy Sanders of Dallas, TX and Mary Davis of Chads Ford PA, second cousin Mary Kathryn Eck of Richmond VA. Newcomer Funeral Home in Beavercreek is making the arrangements. A service will be held at a later date. Internment will be at Fairfax Memorial Gardens in Fairfax, VA.
