Matheny, Larry R., 76, formerly of West Carrollton, passed away January 31, 2019.
He was born March 27, 1942 in Dayton, Ohio to the late William Richard and Edna Elizabeth (Williams) Matheny. Larry was a proud Army Veteran serving during the Viet Nam War. He was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed collecting model cars.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Kathy, sister, Loretta Brewer, brother, Herbert Matheny, and sister, Carol Sue McGuffie.
Larry is survived by his brothers and sister in laws, Charles and Jeannie Matheny, Wayne and Debbie Matheny, and many nieces and nephews whom he dearly loved.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 from 12:30 pm until time of service at 1:30 pm at Newcomer, South Chapel 3940 Kettering Blvd. Burial at Miami Valley Memory Gardens.
