Larry Lynn Taylor, age 75, of Dayton passed away on July 3, 2024. He was born in Dayton on March 7, 1949 to the late Thomas and Jean Taylor.
Larry is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Teresa; children, Jennifer Taylor, Jamie Lynn (Mike B.) Taylor, Jason (Abby) Taylor; grandchildren, Brian, Belle, Shelby; twin brother, Jerry Lee (Bev) Taylor and sisters, Brenda (Terry) Asbury and Linda (Keith) Martindill; along with many other family and friends.
Larry retired from Jena Tool and Die as a tool maker for over 45 years. He enjoyed camping, scouting, gardening and helping at his church. Larry was a scout master for over 20 years for Troop #45. He loved spending lots of time with his grandkids and decorating for Christmas. Larry will be deeply missed and forever loved by those who knew him.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 10, 2024 at Belmont United Methodist Church, 2701 S. Smithville Rd. Service will begin at 11:00 a.m. at the church. Burial to follow at Woodland Cemetery, 118 Woodland Ave. Pastor David Tackett to officiate.
