Larry K. Tharp Sr.

Larry K. Tharp Sr., age 72, of Kettering, passed away Tuesday, August 9, 2016 in Beavercreek, OH. Larry was born October 25, 1943 in Zanesville, OH to the late Russell and Garnett Tharp. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his son, Kevin; and twin brothers: Wayne and Blaine Tharp.

Larry is survived by his wife Jo Ann; sons, Larry (Krista) Tharp Jr., Brett (Gail) Roberts; daughter, Brenda Roberts; grandchildren: Ashley and Justin Summers, Sarah Drescher, Tyler Roberts; sister-in-law, Molly Tharp and Bob Dodson; nephews: Randy (Vivian) Tharp, and Clay (Ann) Tharp.
Larry proudly served in the U.S. Air Force, from which he retired after 20 years. He was an avid Ohio State fan. Go Bucks!

Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 16, 2016 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, Beavercreek Chapel (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, OH). A funeral service will be held Wednesday, August 17 at 10:00 a.m. Burial to follow at Dayton National Cemetery.
