Larry J. Marlow
Age 62 of Dayton, passed away Saturday, November 5, 2011, at Good Samaritan Hospital.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Robert & Jewel (Overton) Marlow.
He is survived by his wife of the past 15 years, Linda L. Marlow; his ex-wife, Isabel E. Marlow; five children, Larry P. Marlow, Reese (Kari) Marlow, Susan A. (Shaun) Clarkson, Jeff Watts & Jenny Wintrode; 11 grandchildren, Jessica, Brittany, Courtney, Christopher, Zachary, Ashley, Anthony, Kimberly, Hannah, Nathaniel & Matthew; one great granddaughter, Alexa; three sisters, Ethel (Steve) Poland, Barbara (Ike) Patrick & Karen (Richard) Cole; mother-in-law, Lillie (Ed) Welch; uncles, James (Juanita) Overton & Hugh Overton; and by his extended family, many good friends & co-workers.
Larry served in the U. S. Army, 101st Airborne Division, during the Vietnam War. After his service he went to work with Siebenthaler's, then Siegler Bottling Co and was currently employed by Coca-Cola Refreshments. Larry was an avid fisherman and will be remembered by his family as being a dedicated husband & father.
The family will be receiving friends from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m., Monday (11/7) at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4014 Needmore Road, Dayton. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home.
