Larry Grierson

Larry Ray Grierson, 56, of Cedarville, OH (originally of Xenia, OH), passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Monday, December 30, 2013.
Larry was a very proud but humble man who loved being outdoors and enjoying the simpler things in life. He worked hard all his life in varying areas of construction. Larry's time at home was spent with his loving wife Judy working around the house and occasionally one could catch him in the garden tending the falls' harvest of the many vegetables they would grow. Larry and Judy were married thirteen years and relied on each other for much love and support. Judy misses her soul mate deeply.
Larry was blessed with two sons, Eric, of Kentucky and Daniel, of Texas. Eric (wife Nichole) and Daniel (wife Jennifer) saw many sacrifices and hardships through the years and were always grateful for their father's wish and support for a better future. He is also survived by his three grandchildren Elyse and Micaela (Daniel) and Elijah (Eric); his sister, Bonnie Grierson of Ohio; and his brothers Donald Laypool of Ohio and Nola Grierson of Washington. He is preceded in death of his mother Virginia Grierson.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 2, 2013 from 4:00 until 5:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd. Beavercreek, OH 45432.
