Larry Lindell Ford, age 69 of Huber Heights, Ohio, passed away Sunday, January 5, 2020. He was born September 3, 1950 in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky to the late Leslie and Emma Ford.
Larry was a graduate of Camargo High School, Kentucky and attended Morehead College, Kentucky. After attending college, he served in the U.S. Army. Larry worked as a flower arranger and delivery driver for Flower For You in Huber Heights, Ohio for over 20 years. Larry enjoyed bird watching and studied genealogy for many years, completing a Ford family tree. He also loved his cats, Blackie and Mossy.
In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his brother, Lawrence Ford; sisters, Ruby (Ford) Wilhoit Marsh, Jewell (Ford) Brown, Ruth Ford, Vera (Ford) Brewer, Kathryn (Ford) Young, Bessie Faye Ford and Judy (Ford) Mourry and friend Robert Dachs.
Larry will be missed by his brother, James Bill (LouVerna) Ford; two close friends, Eric Nagle (friends for 28 years) and Jason Sullivan; as well as several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends Wednesday, January 8, 2020 from 5-7 p.m. at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, OH. A visitation will also be held Friday, January 10 from 12-2 p.m. at Taul Funeral Home, 109 E. Main St., Mt. Sterling, KY, followed by a burial at Little Slate Cemetery, Bath County, KY.
