Larry E. Field, age 80 of Fairborn, OH passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 13, 2022. He was born September 26, 1941 in Charleston, West Virginia to Burres and Garnet (Hawks) Field. He married Linda Betts on October 26, 1973 in St. Albans, West Virginia.
Larry was a Charleston, WV firefighter for 12 years and then went to work for Union Carbide/Bayer Crop Science. He proudly served his country in the Army Reserve. Larry was happiest in the kitchen and riding on his Harley with his friends and family. He loved his family dearly and will be greatly missed by all.
Larry is survived by his wife of 48 years, Linda; son, Larry (Dru) Field, Jr.; daughter, Amber Oxley; three grandsons, Corey (Laura) Sanson, Taylor and Hunter Oxley; and nieces, nephews, family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings.
