Larry Durham

Durham, Larry David, age 56, of Kettering, passed away on Thursday, December 28, 2006 at Kettering Medical Center. He was born February 8, 1950, in Harlan, KY, the son of Larry Kenneth & Callie (Muncy) Durham. He was a board member of Victory Hill All Gospel Church of God. Before his illness he held positions as Youth Leader, Boy Scout Leader, Sunday School Superintendent, had a Puppet Ministry with his wife, and was involved in various other activities. He worked for Krogers for over 30 years. He is preceded in death by his mother. Survivors include his father, wife, Kathy (Keaton) Durham; children, Renee Durham & Buddy Campbell of Kettering, Beth Durham of Kettering, Joe (Nicole) Durham of Springfield; grandchildren, Cory Ray Durham of Kettering and Joey Durham of Springfield; sister, Connie (Vernon) Wells of Dayton; brother, James Durham of Trotwood; sister, Lora Sandlin of Brookville; and a host of other family members and friends.Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, January 2, 2007 at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, OH. Burial will follow at Preble Memory Gardens, West Alexandria. The family will be receiving friends from 4-6 PM on Monday at the funeral home.
