Larry Breedlove

Larry A. Breedlove, 79, of Beavercreek, Ohio, formerly of Orwell and Chardon, Ohio died April 7, 2007 of complications from pulmonary fibrosis.

He was born on June 11, 1927 in Oakland, Maryland. His parents were Clyde W. and Pearl M. (Hinebaugh) Breedlove. During World War II, he served in the United States Army. Following his service experience, he attended the Pittsburgh Institute of Air Conditioning and Refrigeration.

From 1956-1988 he was employed by T.R.W., Inc. in Euclid, Ohio, primarily in air conditioning and refrigeration maintenance. He also worked for several companies in various construction capacities. With the assistance of his wife and children, he personally built three of the homes in which they lived.

He was a member of Orwell North Presbyterian Church in Orwell, Ohio. In addition he maintained membership in Building Laborer's Local 860, Aircraft Workers of America, and The Woodmen of the World Fraternal Society for more than fifty years.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Dolores, who he married in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on March 2, 1951; four children: Brooke E. (Joe) Sparks, Brent A. (Heidi) Breedlove, Brian K. (Gloria) Breedlove and Blake R. (Kimberly) Breedlove, 13 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild, brother Arlie P. Breedlove and sister Reva M. Thomas.

He was predeceased by his parents, Clyde W. and Pearl M. Breedlove, brothers Cecil C. and Carl R. Breedlove, sisters Pearl R. (Jo) Ross and Vera A. Eckard.

There will be no public funeral service.

Following cremation, interment will be in Texas Cemetery, Horse Shoe Run, West Virginia at a later date.
