Larry W Back, Sr.

BACK, Larry W., Sr., age 75 of Beavercreek, passed away peacefully on January 5, 2017. He was born in Quicksand, KY to the late Price B. Back and Lily Carol (Carpenter) Back Minnix. Larry proudly and honorably served in the United States Army, volunteering to serve during the Vietnam War. Before going to Vietnam he began his service in Germany, where he met his wife, Christa Montag.

After his service he went on to work and retire from Delco/Delphi after 30 years of loyal service. Larry was a passionate Kentucky Wildcats and Dallas Cowboys fan. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, and spending time with his family in his free time. He was a loving and compassionate, husband, father, papa, and great-grandfather and will be greatly missed by all who loved him.

In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by brothers, Michael Back and Jerry Back.

Larry leaves behind to cherish his memory, loving wife of 51 years, Christa Back; children, Larry (Sandi) Back, Jr., Nicole (Johnny) Dale, and Charles (Jennifer) Back; sister, Laura Elizabeth Back-Hayes; grandchildren, Larry "Trey" (Christa) Back, III, Ryan (Sandra) Back; Samantha (Brandon) Perkins, Jackson Back, Madison Back, Hunter Dale, and Tyler Back; 10 great-grandchildren; best friends, Clarence (Alpha) Frazier and Arthur (Margaret) Brown; and many other loving relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home - Beavercreek Chapel on Saturday, January 7, 2017 from 5pm-8pm. A second visitation will be held at Watts Funeral Home (650 Hwy 15 N, Jackson, KY 41339) on Saturday, January 14, 2017 from 11am-3pm; funeral service to immediately follow. Burial and military honors to take place at Miles Back Family Cemetery.
