Larry Dale Atkins

Larry Dale Atkins, age 68, of Dayton, passed away on February 4, 2021. He was born in Muncie, Indiana, on August 26, 1952, the son of the late Marvin Adkins and Carmen Heeter.

He is survived by his children, Larry Paul Atkins, Rebekah Fiedler, William Atkins and Lori Atkins; 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; siblings, Geri Bryant, Polly Hastings, Lynn Mullins and Chris Heeter, Sr.; and many loving nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Larry retired from General Motors. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, canoeing and playing his guitar. The most important thing to Larry was his family and the time spent with them. Larry was very proud of his faith and the love he had for the Lord Jesus. He will be dearly missed by everyone who loved him.

Visitation will be held from 10:00am-11:00am, on Saturday, February 13, 2021, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, where services will begin at 11:00am with Tim Nixon officiating. Burial will follow at Bethel West Cemetery.
