Lara G. Cook, age 85 of Trotwood, passed away October 22, 2022 at her home. She was born January 11, 1937 in Quicksand, KY to the late Howard and Alice (Dunn) Turner. In addition to her parents, Lara was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William L. Cook; granddaughter, Shannon Lynn Cook; sister, Dottie Massie; brothers, Virgil Turner and Earl Turner.
She is survived by her three children, William C. (Sherry) Cook; David E. (Dianna) Cook and Margaret (Bruce) Meyer; grandchildren, Shane (Jennifer), Kristina and David (Etta); great-grandchildren, Neesha Rose Cook, Jordan Blakley, Dalton Cook, Domanick Cook, Abigail Blakley, Gabriel Blakley, Sidney Cook, Daivin Cook and Madison Cook; great great-granddaughter, Aubri Lynnmarie Blakley; seven siblings and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.
Lara supported her husband's country/western band, Country Gold & Country Rebels, for many years. She enjoyed attending church and living her faith. Lara loved her four legged best friend, Oreo.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, October 28, 2022 at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens (8200 W. National Rd., New Carlisle, OH 45344).
