Langley V. Tackett

Tackett, Langley V. age 90, of Dayton, Ohio passed away on Monday, December 21, 2020. He was born in Riceville Township, Kentucky on January 1, 1930 to the late Donald Carl and Grace Tackett (nee Caudill).
He was preceded in death by his wife of 69 years, Phyllis Tackett; and sisters, Neva, Avonell, and Geraldine.
Langley is survived by his sons, Douglas C. Tackett and David V. (Georgia) Tackett; grandchildren, Amber Tackett & her husband Josh, Brandi Lipscomb & her husband Wesley and Brian Tackett & his wife Sarah; great-grandchildren, Piper, Ellie, and James; and a host of other family members and friends.
In loving memory of Langley, contributions may be made to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
The State of Ohio is under a mandatory mask order and has required that a face mask be worn in all public places.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 28, 2020 from 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Beavercreek Chapel, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432 followed by a funeral service at 1:30 pm. Langley will be laid to rest next to his loving wife at Valley View Memorial Gardens.
