Short, Lana J., age 62, of Dayton, passed away on Friday, August 17, 2012.
Lana is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law: Donna (Eric) Edmondson & Teresa (Ronald) Wills; sons and daughter-in-law: Ken (Trish) Short & Greg Gilliam; mother: Eleanor Gilliam; grandchildren: Derek, Joseph, Cody, Kyle, Erica, Maddie & Aaron; brothers: Ronnie, Gary, Danny, Jimmy & Michael Gilliam; sister: Barbara Gilliam; and numerous other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her father: Leroy Gilliam; sisters-in-law: Carlesa & Chrissy Gilliam; nephews: Ryan & Brian Gilliam; and niece: Brandon Gilliam.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, August 23, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home – South Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering with Pastor Doug Surber officiating. Interment will follow the service at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 5:00 – 8:00 P.M.
