Lamont Anthony Dozier

November 10, 1970 — May 7, 2022

Lamont Anthony Dozier departed this life unexpectedly on Saturday, May 7, 2022, at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, OH. He was born on November 10, 1970, to Horace Dozier, Sr. and Juanita (White) Dozier and was a 1989 graduate of Patterson Cooperative High School.

Lamont was such a debater of sorts back in the days. All you could do is simply walk away or get beat down by his intellectual stance ending with that Lamont smile. But what was most important to him was his relationship in Jesus. His heart never ceased from the Word of God despite his health challenges. He appreciated all that his dad and mom did for him and never ceased to say "Thank You" mom for delivering his bi-weekly groceries or "Thank You" dad for whatever help was given to him. His mom and dad will certainly miss seeing him in the hammock at their home affixed between two trees, his favorite spot that gave him a sense of peace. His cremation vault will be placed under a tree at Woodland several rows from his grandfather Vernon E. White. Sr.

Lamont was so filled with the gentle spirit of Christ and leaves to cherish his memory his daughter Ariel with that same spirit, loving and caring parents Horace Sr. and Juanita, loving brother Horace, Jr. (Demetria), granddaughter Myla Arianna, loving grandmothers Anna White and Louise Dozier, loving Aunts Marina Foster, Marcia Catlett and MaDonna White, loving Uncles Howard and Timothy Dozier, Michael White; the cousins who jokingly were called the first and final four who got the best babysitter their Grandma White, Lamont being the oldest, then April, Horace, Jr., and Stacy.; Loving cousin's Michael Dozier (LeeAnn), Shawn White, Leah Walker and host of other cousins, relatives, and church family members who loved Lamont just as dearly.

We will miss you so much son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend; praying that all of us will accept Jesus as our Lord and Saviour and receive the promise He has made in Rev 2:10 "be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.

Visitation and services will be held Wednesday, May 18th, 2022 from 11am - 12pm. Services will start at 12pm, all at the Ethan Temple Seventh-day Adventist Church, 4000 Shiloh Springs Rd, Clayton, OH 45315. Pastor Stephen D. Lewis to Officiate.
