Lacey Tilman Adams

Lacey Tilman Adams, 84, was born July 22, 1938 in Memphis, TN. He spent his teenage years in Robins, IL before joining the Air Force in the late 1950s. After retiring he spent years being a business owner, active member in the church, as well as a devoted husband, father, brother, grandfather & friend.

He gained his wings on 16 December 2022 in Dayton, OH. He was pre deceased by his Mother (Daisy Adams), Father (John Adams Sr.) & Siblings (George, Authur, Marvin, Gwen & Debra).

He leaves behind his wife Wanda Adams, Siblings (John Jr. [Glenda], Bill [Malou], Jackie, Michelle [Phil] & Joyce), Children (Halord, Philip, Michelle & Sandra), and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other family members, and friends.

Mr. Adams made an impact in the community & was loved by many. He will be missed by all but will forever live on in our hearts.

Visitation will be held from 11:30 am - 12:30 pm on Friday, December 23, 2022 at Newcomer Funeral Home, North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, where the funeral service will begin at 12:30 pm. Burial with military honors will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at Dayton National Cemetery, Shelter B.
