Kristy I. Campbell

Kristy Irene Campbell, age 61 of Xenia, passed away Saturday, September 9, 2023 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born September 17, 1961 in Dayton, Ohio the daughter of LaVerene and Shirley Ley.

Kristy graduated from Stebbins High School in 1979. She worked in management at Taco Bell for 10 years and then for Eastway Behavioral Health for 24 years. In her spare time, she enjoyed collecting pottery. More than anything, she loved spending time with her family and animals and vacationing in the Smoky Mountains.

She is preceded in death by her father, LaVerene Karl Ley; mother, Shirley Irene Ley; sister, Karen Tucker; daughter, Clarissa Campbell; grandson, Logan Coppock and brothers, Bruce Ley and LaVerene "Buster" Ley.

Kristy is survived by her husband of 40 years, Randy Campbell; children, Crystal Campbell and Josh Campbell; sisters, Karla Hollenbaugh and Kimberly West; grandchildren, Alycia Blake and Ayden Blake; father in-law and mothers in-law, Neil (Karen) Campbell and Kathryn Campbell; and numerous nieces, nephews, friends and loved ones.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton in Kristy's memory.

Visitation will be Thursday, September 14, 2023 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm with a service at 6:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432).
