Kristopher Lee Hampton

In loving memory of Kristopher Lee Hampton AKA Kris or Kelly, a devoted son, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. His journey on this earth began on October 27, 1976, in his beloved hometown of Dayton, Ohio. His time with us came to an end on June 9, 2024, in Harrison Twp., Ohio.
 
Kristopher was a man of many talents and passions. His vibrant personality shined through in everything he did. He found joy in taking care of others and had a knack for tinkering and remodeling cars. His skills in welding were unmatched, a true reflection of his dedication to craftsmanship.
 
Among his hobbies and interests, Kristopher delighted in cooking and barbecuing for his loved ones. He thought he made the best spaghetti-even though it was only noodles, sauce and meat. Kris held a special place in his heart for Transformers and Superman, indulging in their stories with a childlike enthusiasm. Playing dominos was another pastime that brought him immense joy and camaraderie.
 
Kristopher is survived by his loving mother, Eloise Hampton; his children, Kristopher Lee Hampton II, Kristian Hampton, Toyai Hampton, Taijahnae Hampton, Tierynae (Iris) Hampton, Taelen Hampton, Cierra Hampton, and Cameron Hampton; his grandchildren, Timothy L. Jordan Jr., and Namarion M. Hawkins; his sisters, Alice "Nikki" King, Kristi Spears (his twin sister), Felicia Hampton, and Takena Hughes; his brothers, Damion Hampton (Kenyatta), Albert Lee Breaizel Jr., and Robert Payne; grandmother, Christell Hill; as well as special friends, Jarie Brown, Jalayia Talley, Jerry Scott, Pichon Devance Sr., and Angela Whitaker; and a host of other beloved aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Special note from Kristopher to his children, "I may have had nine, but you're all number one".
 
He was preceded in death by his father, Albert Lee Breaizel Sr., who undoubtedly welcomed him with open arms into the eternal embrace.
 
Those who knew Kristopher will remember him for his kind heart, infectious smile, and unwavering loyalty. His presence illuminated the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 15, 2024 from 10-11am at the Newcomer North Dayton Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton, OH 45424. A celebration of life will follow at 11am. 
 
The family would like to thank the staff at Ohio's Hospice of Dayton for their loving care-especially Kim Thompson, Heather Hoaglin, Chaplain Corey Cunningham, and his crisis team, Julie Grant, Jeff Davis, and Krystin Hall. 
 
May he rest in peace knowing that he was deeply loved and will be forever be missed by all who had the honor of being part of his life's journey.
