Kitty Louise Haddix, 87 of Riverside, passed away on August 1, 2023 at home. She was born on May 13, 1936 in Lee County, Virginia to Fannie (nee: Witt) Rivers and Curtis Rivers.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 50+ years Curtis Haddix; her parents, Curtis and Fannie Rivers; her 2 daughters, Angela and Connie; her 3 brothers, Stoney, Tex and Ronnie; her 3 sisters, Ofa, Vickie and Shirly; her great grandson, Dylan.
Kitty is survived by her children, Deborah, Beverly, Rita, James "Bruce", Dana and Kristi; her grandchildren, Brian/Johnny, Jennifer, Lisa, Tracy, Misty, Jessica, Lilly, Shannon, Mindy, Cody and Kayla; her great grandchildren, Jonathon, Destini, Tori, Austin D., Austin, Daniel, Seth, Spencer, Saylor, Saul, Victoria, Kirsten, Chaz, Mattei, Andrew, Malaya, Blake, Raylan, Madison, Isiah, Isaac; her sisters, Virlia, Sheila, Jo, Eddie Sue and Glenda. Kitty is also survived by numerous family and friends.
She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She enjoyed her family, young and restless, Elvis, Country Music and shopping for bargains. Kitty will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Visitation will be held Monday, August 14, 2023 from 12:30pm to 1:30pm with services immediately following, all at Newcomer Funeral Home – North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd. Dayton, OH 45424. Kitty will be laid to rest in Woodland Cemetery.
