Kirt Allen Fourman, age 63, of Englewood, passed away Tuesday, May 28, 2024, after a lengthy battle with cancer. Kirt was born on June 1, 1960, to C. Darlene and David L. Fourman. He was a 1979 graduate of Trotwood-Madison High School and the Montgomery County Joint Vocational School.
He was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. Kirt was preceded in death by his mother, Darlene Fourman, and brother, Steve Fourman. He is survived by his son, Adam S. (Caitlyn) Fourman; granddaughter, Reece; father, Dave Fourman; sisters Pam (Tim) Mahorney and Jill (Jose) Gomez; brothers Bruce (Candy) Fourman and Jeff Fourman as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Kirt enjoyed the challenges of his job as a Maintenance Tech for Grandview Hospital and appreciated the friendships he built with many of his hospital coworkers. Before that, he spent 20+ years as the Head of Maintenance at Lastar/CTG where he also made valued friends.
Kirt loved spending time at his farm, especially during deer hunting season. When he was not working or hunting, he could often be found helping family and friends repair, rebuild, or renovate anything with an engine. He was selfless in his willingness to help others. His dry wit, love of family, and love of the outdoors will be missed.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 6-8 pm on Thursday, June 6, 2024 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton. Contributions in Kirt's memory can be made to Troy Fish & Game. To share a memory of Kirt or leave a special message for his family, please sign the online guestbook provided.
