Kirk Klentz, 57, of Beavercreek, passed away unexpectedly on September 20, 2023.
Kirk was born on January 20, 1966 to Karl and Martha Klentz in Freeport IL. Kirk was the 1984 Valedictorian at Bellbrook High School where he earned varsity letters in Cross Country, Basketball, Baseball, Band and a member of the National Honor Society. He achieved Eagle Scout and was State of Ohio Newspaper Carrier of the Year in 1982.
Kirk went on to study Electrical Engineering at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in Terra Haute, IN and was employed by Electronic Images Systems, Barco, Ladd, JRM Envelope, Children's Hospital, and Acuren working primarily in the IT field. He was able to retire and enjoy life in 2022.
Throughout his short life, Kirk was very active in sports and sporting activities and enjoyed pickleball, bowling, cycling, disc golf, volleyball, softball and much more. He was an avid fan of the Cincinnati Reds and Bengals, Ohio State Buckeyes and the Dayton Dragons. Kirk loved his dogs and all animals. He was active in the Bluebirding community contributing many live nest cam videos which are available on his YouTube channel.
Kirk was predeceased by father Karl and niece Rachel. He is survived by mother Martha, brothers and sisters, Keith (Mary Jo), Kimberly Bott (Michael), Kirby, Kris (Paula) and Kathy Whiting. Nieces and Nephews Benjamin, Christopher, Wesley, Emily, Jeremy, Shelby, Brandon, Lexy, Jacob, Samuel, Danielle and AJ. Partner JoAnne George, her son Doug (Mindy) George and their children Cameron and Kylie.
Kirk's service will be livestreamed at the scheduled service time.

Public visitation will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton Xenia Rd) on Friday October 6, 2023 at 1:00 pm with a memorial service to follow at 3:00 pm.
