Kimberly Ann Schmidt

Kimberly Ann (Barber) Schmidt, age 62, of Troy, Ohio passed away on June 11, 2022 after her courageous battle with cancer.

Kimberly was preceded in death by her father, Robert Lee Barber, step-father James McKivergin, half-brother, James Lee Barber.

Kimberly is survived by her husband, Robert J. Schmidt; mother Coleen Patricia (Baker) McKivergin; her son: Nicholas P. (Amanda) Grow; step-sons: Michael J. Schmidt (Jerilyn) and Daniel A. (Katherine) Schmidt; Granddaughter Eleanor Schmidt; Brother: Donald J. (Ruth) Lingg; Step brother: James McKivergin; half-brother: Robert L. Barber; sisters: Cynthia Lingg (Earl) Moore, Pamela S. Daniels, Robin D. Heimann; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Kim was a dedicated employee of Mama Rosa/ Schwann in Sidney Ohio. Kimberly graduated Magna Cum Laude from Park University with a bachelor's degree of science in Management/ Accounting. A compassionate and loved volunteer at Ohio Hospice of Miami County, past president of Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, and an active member of Trinity Episcopal Church.

Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, June 30, 2022 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road. Scattering of ashes will be held at Trinity Episcopal Church on Friday July 1, 2022 at 11:00am.
