Kimberly A. Richey, age 44 of Centerville, passed away April 25, 2012. She was born January 5, 1968 in Dayton to the late Bill Riley and Mary Coffman, who survives. In addition to her father, Kim was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Christopher Richey.
In addition to her mother, Kim is survived by her husband of 16 years, John Richey; children: Dylan and Breanna Richey; sisters: Michelle Riley and life partner, The Honorable Mary Wiseman, Victoria (David) Sizemore and Melissa (Brent) Byrd; mother-in-law, Patty Jo Richey; brothers-in-law: Tim Richey, Terry (Tami) Richey, Jim (Michelle) Richey, Tom (Pilar) Richey, Joe (Cheri) Richey, Mike (Amy) Richey, Bob (Andrea) Richey, David Richey and Patrick (Jolie) Richey; sisters-in-law: Teresa (Barry) Fulcomer, Jane (Cracker) Shaw and Julie (Jim) Rohrer; numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and dear friends.
Kim was a dedicated mother and Godmother, loving daughter and sister. She was a very genuine person who cared for others. She was a mentor to many, including "The Gang" and was loved by all. Kim was taken way too soon; she will be missed by all who knew her.
Visitation will be held from 5-8 pm on Monday, April 30, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 527 Forest Avenue, Dayton, Ohio 45405. Father Jim Schutte, Celebrant. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date at Calvary Cemetery.
