Kimberly "Kim" L. Boles

July 7, 1964 — August 26, 2024

Huber Heights

Kimberly Lynn Boles, age 60, of Huber Heights passed away on August 26, 2024. She was born in Dayton on July 7, 1964 to parents, Red and Nancy Boles. Kim is preceded in death by her father, Red Boles; beloved daughter, Brandi Zoller; brother-in-law, Dale Bowling and favorite aunt, Thelma Hayes.

She is survived by her loving children, Karina Curtiss, Darius Boles; mother, Nancy Boles; granddaughter, Aliyah Laprairie, siblings, Donna Creech, Tonya Skipper, Christina Boles, Jackie Boles, William Boles, Nicole Boles and son-in-law, Ben Laprairie; along with many other nieces, nephews and a host of family and friends.

Kim was a precious and dynamic part of the family. She is truly the glue that held everything together. She would always show up for every single event, for every single person whether they were immediate family, a 4th cousin or a friend. She was the designated family photographer, always letting us be present in the moment while she captured the memories. She was always the life of the party and If someone needed something, she would jump into action without any hesitation and help find a solution. She was so intelligent, the brains of the family and she loved to sing and dance.

She had her first daughter at 16 and yet she still finished high school early and was the first in the family to obtain a college education and graduate with a degree. She established a successful career, that she dedicated 25+ years of her life to, all while being SO present for literally everyone. She was an amazing, loving and devoted mother and grandmother.

When her first daughter, Brandi passed her world came crumbling down. She was so heartbroken but she still went above and beyond for her children and everyone who is still here with us today. Even though she only had two children, she created blurred lines between being a mother, an aunt, a grandma, a sister, a cousin, a niece and a friend.

Kim treated every single niece and nephew (there are a lot) like her children and has been doing this for YEARS, literally up until her last day. She created a normalcy of what family should be within a chaotic family dynamic. She was a boss and a role model of what we should aspire to be. This loss is devastating to so many people because of the impact she had on this world. What a life to take. We are heartbroken she left us so soon and don’t know what we’ll do without her. We love you Mom!
